Overview

A 1 gallon soap-free, paraben-free dog shampoo scented with ginger orange essential oils, made for both dogs and cats. Green Groom markets it as a conditioning and deodorizing wash meant to add shine and ease tension.

This is the ginger orange counterpart to the same brand's chamomile white-coat formula, built around essential oils rather than a coat brightening agent. The listing credits it with conditioning, deodorizing, deshedding, moisturizing, nourishing, and soothing benefits, a broad claim set for one bottle, though no ingredient breakdown beyond the essential oil name is provided. Like the other Green Groom shampoo in this batch, the gallon size targets groomers or multi-pet households over occasional single bath use.

1 gallon liquid dog shampoo
Ginger orange essential oil scent
Soap free, paraben free formula
Marketed for conditioning, deodorizing, and deshedding

Who it's for

Suited to groomers or households bathing dogs regularly who want an essential oil scented, soap-free wash without a specific coat color targeting claim. Less useful for someone wanting a single small bottle or a fragrance-free option.

Pros and cons

Pros

1 gallon size for frequent or multi-dog use
Soap free and paraben free formula
Ginger orange essential oils for scent and shine
Marketed for deshedding and moisturizing

Cons

No detailed ingredient list beyond the essential oil name
Large size impractical for occasional single dog baths

Performance notes

The formula is built around ginger orange essential oils and is listed as soap free and paraben free, which the brand credits with deodorizing and moisturizing effects alongside deshedding and conditioning claims. It's a liquid shampoo sold by the gallon rather than concentrate, so no dilution ratio changes are implied by the packaging. As with any essential oil shampoo, scent sensitivity in some dogs is worth checking on a small area first.
