More from this brandAll Waterdrop refrigerator water filtersOverview
A 3-pack of quarter-turn refrigerator water filters sized to replace Whirlpool 4396701 / EDR6D1 and the equivalent Kenmore, LG and EveryDrop Filter 6 part numbers. Designed for freezer-bottom fridges with the filter housed behind the bottom grille.
Waterdrop lists more than a dozen cross-reference numbers for this filter, including Kenmore 9915 and 469915, so the safest way to confirm fit is to match the number stamped on your old filter rather than the fridge model itself. The carbon block is made from Sri Lankan coconut shell rather than the coal or walnut-shell carbon used in cheaper filters, which the listing ties to taste rather than a specific certified contaminant reduction. Each filter ships with a sticker set for tracking install dates.
- Coconut shell activated carbon block
- Quarter-turn, no-tool installation
- Rated for 200 gallons or 6 months per filter
- 3-pack of direct-fit replacements
Who it's for
Owners of Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Kenmore or LG refrigerators with a quarter-turn filter in the bottom grille who want a 3-pack on hand instead of buying single replacements. It suits anyone comfortable cross-checking their old filter's part number before ordering.
Pros and cons
- No tools needed for install
- Ships with month-tracking install stickers
- 3 filters cover roughly 18 months of use
- BPA-free, food-grade filter housing
- No certification numbers listed for this filter
- Fit depends on matching an exact part number
Performance notes
The filter uses a coconut shell activated carbon block, which the listing describes as having a larger surface area and more micropores than standard charcoal filters. No independent contaminant test results are included in the listing data. Waterdrop rates each filter for roughly 200 gallons or 6 months of use before it needs swapping.
