Overview
Rapala packs a gripper and a scale into one floating tool for anglers handling a catch. The gripper holds the fish while the scale reads its weight, and the floating build stops it sinking if dropped.
The reason to buy is a single tool covering both holding and weighing, from a long-known fishing brand. Floating adds a safety margin over the side of a boat. The limitation is missing data: no capacity, no units and no accuracy figures appear.
Who it's for
Casual and weekend anglers who weigh a fish and release it will use the combo. Tournament anglers, or anyone who needs a verified capacity and scale accuracy, should look at scales with full specifications.
Pros and cons
- Gripper and scale in one tool
- Floats if dropped
- Known fishing brand
- Light to carry
- Weight capacity not listed
- Scale type not described
- Accuracy not stated
- Dimension entry looks wrong
Performance notes
A gripper lets you hold a fish without squeezing it, and a spring or digital scale reads its weight from the grip. Accuracy depends on the scale type, which the listing does not give. Wet hands and fish movement affect a reading.
