Overview
A compact stainless steel smoker box measuring 3.75 by 8.75 by 1.63 inches, sized to sit on a charcoal grill's grate and hold wood chips for added smoke flavor.
Despite being filed as a smoker, the dimensions and silver stainless steel build match a smoker box rather than a full smoking appliance: a small perforated container you fill with wood chips and set directly on the charcoal or grate. It is an add-on for an existing grill, not a stand-alone cooker.
- Stainless steel construction
- 3.75 x 8.75 x 1.63 in size
- Silver finish
- Charcoal fuel type
Who it's for
Charcoal grill owners who want to add wood smoke flavor without buying a dedicated smoker. Not for anyone who needs the wood chips themselves or a complete smoking rig.
Pros and cons
- Compact size fits easily on a charcoal grate
- Stainless steel withstands repeated high heat
- Adds smoke flavor without a dedicated smoker
- Wood chips sold separately
- Small size needs frequent wood chip refills
Performance notes
Placed on hot coals or a grate, a perforated stainless steel box like this lets wood chips smolder rather than burn outright, releasing smoke through the vents into the cooking chamber. Stainless steel holds up to repeated high heat exposure better than thinner sheet metal.
