Overview
Filled with microfiber instead of down, this Lavish Comforts king comforter measures 104 by 86 inches and ships compressed, finished in white. It's built as a hypoallergenic substitute for a genuine down duvet.
Down alternative comforters trade the loft of real down for a hypoallergenic, vegan fill, and this one leans on that pitch. It arrives compressed, which is convenient for shipping but means the comforter needs time after unboxing to reach its full thickness.
- 104 by 86 inch king size
- Microfiber down alternative fill
- Compressed packaging for shipping
- White colorway
Who it's for
Suits buyers who want a king size comforter without down or animal fill, or who have allergies to feathers. Not the pick for anyone chasing the specific loft and warmth of a genuine down duvet.
Pros and cons
- Hypoallergenic vegan fill, no down
- Machine washable for simple care
- King sizing at 104 by 86 inches
- Needs about 24 hours to fully fluff
- No fill weight or GSM listed
- Microfiber fill will not match real down loft
Performance notes
The microfiber fill is what stands in for down here, giving loft without feathers. Because it ships compressed, the listing calls for about 24 hours after unboxing for the comforter to expand to its full thickness, with fluffing by hand or a low dryer cycle speeding that up.
