Overview
Filterlogic makes this cartridge as a replacement for GE refrigerators that use the MWF style of filter, with an activated coconut carbon block in lead-free, food-grade material.
GE and Kenmore owners get one cartridge and a sticker to mark the install month. The material list is lead-free and food-grade. Filter life is not stated, and the warranty covers defects only.
Who it's for
Owners of the GE models listed can swap in a cartridge for the usual routine. The stickers help track the date. Households needing a multipack for several changes should look at a larger set.
Pros and cons
- Activated coconut carbon block
- NSF certification listed
- Install month stickers included
- Lead-free, food-grade material
- Single cartridge only
- Filter life not listed
- Short filter warranty
Performance notes
Water passes through an advanced activated coconut carbon block, which the listing credits with reducing chlorine. The cartridge fits GE housings in the MWF family, so the model list decides compatibility. Certification to two NSF standards is listed. Flow rate and capacity are not given.
