Overview
Aquabliss built this chrome shower filter around a replaceable cartridge, and packs an adapter, plumbers tape and spare washers for the connection. The listing does not describe the filter media or what it removes, so only the hardware can be assessed here.
Everything needed to seal the threads comes in the box, along with step-by-step instructions, which spares a trip to the hardware store. What the cartridge actually filters, and for how long, is missing, so any skin or hair claims remain unproven by the listing.
Who it's for
Suited to a bathroom where a small add-on filter with its own tape and washers makes installation a one-trip job. Shoppers who want test data on what the cartridge removes should pass, since none is given.
Pros and cons
- Plumbers tape and washers in the box
- Adapter supplied for the connection
- Step-by-step instructions supplied
- Compact, light chrome housing
- Filter media and cartridge life not listed
- No contaminant reduction data in the specs
Performance notes
Results depend on the cartridge media and how often it is changed, and neither is described in the listing. A good seal at the threads, helped by the included tape and washers, decides whether the housing drips after installation.
