Overview
An activated carbon cartridge inside a chrome housing treats water on its way to the shower head, aimed at chlorine, sediment and heavy metals. The filter installs at the wall with the included adapter and replacement washers, and the listing says it maintains water pressure.
Everything needed to fit it comes in the box, including an adapter, spare washers and step-by-step instructions. How long the cartridge lasts and how much of each contaminant it removes are not given, so results depend on your water.
Who it's for
Bathrooms on treated city water, where chlorine is the main concern, match what the listing targets. Owners who need softened water or published reduction figures should look for a different system.
Pros and cons
- Activated carbon filter cartridge
- Adapter and spare washers included
- Step-by-step instructions in the box
- Needs no power to run
- Cartridge life not listed
- Housing adds length at the wall
- Chrome is the only finish here
Performance notes
Filtering depends on contact between water and the activated carbon, so flow and cartridge age govern how much gets removed. As the carbon saturates, reduction drops, which makes replacement timing the key variable. Water pressure claims rest on the listing alone.
