Overview
Not an original LG cartridge, but a coconut carbon block sold as a replacement for several LG, Kenmore Elite and HDX numbers. Lead-free, BPA-free materials are listed.
Three testing bodies are named, and the warranty is longer than usual. The target is a better-tasting glass of water. The limit is the unclear pack size.
Who it's for
Owners of fridges that take the LT700P style cartridge. Others should match their own part number first.
Pros and cons
- Three testing bodies named
- Reduces chlorine per listing
- Lead-free and BPA-free materials
- Pack count listed inconsistently
- Not an original brand filter
- Filter life not listed
- Dimensions not listed
Performance notes
Water filters through the carbon block, which targets chlorine and the taste and odor that go with it. A correct fit and seal at the housing are what let it work. Replace it on the schedule your fridge sets.
