Overview
Excelpure builds this replacement cartridge around coconut shell activated carbon, with food-grade and lead-free material. It is sold in a pack of three to reduce turbidity and remove impurities in the supply to the fridge.
A multi-pack covers several filter changes in one order, and the certification list gives it a documented base. The limits are a fit that depends on the model list and no stated filter life.
Who it's for
Households with a listed LG fridge who change the cartridge on a schedule. Owners of other brands need to match the part number first.
Pros and cons
- Three filters per pack
- Coconut shell carbon
- Multiple certifications listed
- Defect return policy
- Fit depends on model list
- Filter life not listed
- Aftermarket, not original
- Return terms vary by seller
Performance notes
Water flows through the carbon media, which adsorbs impurities and reduces turbidity as listed. Filter life depends on water quality and usage, and flow drops as the media loads. A seated, sealed cartridge matters for leak-free operation.
