Overview

A 5 pound bag of grain-free dry kibble for adult indoor cats, built around chicken, turkey and chicken meal as the named proteins. The label lists it as soy free and wheat free with no added hormones, aimed at cats needing indoor-specific nutrition.

Wellness positions this recipe around indoor cats specifically, with the label noting support for overall health and urinary tract health, a common focus point for cats with reduced activity and water intake indoors. It is a high protein formula per the label's nutrient content claim, though the exact protein percentage is not in the available specs. The 5 pound bag size suits testing the recipe or feeding a single cat before committing to a larger bag.

Who it's for

Owners of indoor adult cats looking for a grain-free chicken and turkey recipe with urinary tract support on the label will find this fits. Owners needing a large bulk bag for multiple cats may prefer a bigger package size than the 5 pounds offered here.

Pros and cons

Pros

Named proteins: chicken, turkey and chicken meal
Grain-free, soy-free and wheat-free per label
Formulated for indoor cats with urinary support claim

Cons

5 pound bag is small for multi-cat homes
Exact protein percentage not listed in specs
Grain-free may not suit cats without dietary need for it

Performance notes

The recipe is formed around named animal proteins, chicken and turkey plus chicken meal, rather than generic meat by-products, and is manufactured without soy or wheat according to the allergen information field. The indoor-specific positioning ties to the label's urinary tract health claim, a common concern for cats with lower activity levels.
