Overview
A double deadbolt anti-rotation design anchors this compact U-lock, which the maker says resists bolt cutters and twisting. A vinyl coating protects the finish, and a sliding cover shields the keyway from grit.
The reason to buy is a thicker shackle than the smallest locks, in a body still small enough to carry in a bag. The limit is the missing interior size, along with an app control row that cannot apply to a deadbolt lock.
Who it's for
Cyclists and scooter owners who park at a campus rack or a gate and want something compact. Riders in major city centers leaving valuable bikes for long periods should look at a higher rated lock.
Pros and cons
- Thick hardened shackle
- Three keys included
- Frame mount bracket
- Interior opening not listed
- Mid-range security rating
- App control row looks wrong
Performance notes
The double deadbolt resists twisting and cutting, and the disc style cylinder is built against picking and drilling. A short shackle limits what can be locked, so the choice of fixture sets how well the lock works in practice.
