Overview
A double deadbolt anti-rotation mechanism locks the thick shackle on this compact U-lock, certified to a gold level by an outside body. The bundle adds a braided looped cable, a frame bracket and three keys.
The reason to buy is third-party certification and a cable bundled with a lock that stays small. The limit is the missing interior size and a specs table with touch control and a three-piece count that muddy what is in the box.
Who it's for
Commuters wanting a certified lock plus a cable for a wheel, mostly for stops of a few hours. Owners of high-value bikes in dense city centers should consider a higher rated lock.
Pros and cons
- Sold Secure Gold certified
- Interior opening not listed
- Mid-range maker rating
- Piece count looks inconsistent
Performance notes
The deadbolt design resists twisting leverage and bolt cutters, and the cylinder is built against picking and drilling. The cable adds a way to secure a wheel but is not the main security element. What you lock to matters as much as the lock.
