Overview
A 6-quart silicone colander with extendable handles designed to rest over a sink and fold flat when not in use. Suits anyone replacing a worn-out over-sink strainer who wants a compact, dishwasher-safe option instead of a rigid metal one.
The extendable handles let it adjust to different sink widths rather than fitting one size only.
- 6-quart silicone construction
- Extendable handles for varying sink widths
- Collapsible for compact storage
- Dishwasher safe
Pros and cons
- Collapses flat to save drawer and cabinet space
- Extendable handles adjust to different sink widths
- Drains without holding water in the basin
- Feels bulky once fully extended, per one reviewer
- Folding edges can split apart after years of repeated use
Performance notes
The mesh holes are sized to drain water quickly while holding onto small items like rice, and the extendable handles let the unit wedge across sinks of different widths rather than needing an exact fit.
