Overview
Not a graphing calculator, this Sharp model is an advanced scientific calculator whose WriteView screen shows expressions the way a textbook prints them. Solar power runs it with a battery backup, and a home key returns to the start from any screen.
Textbook-style display plus matrix, complex and equation modes cover high school and college math and science without graphing. The listing does not say which exams allow it or name the battery type.
Who it's for
Students in algebra through calculus, chemistry and physics, and professionals who need statistics and matrices, get a capable scientific tool. Anyone required to graph functions needs a graphing calculator.
Pros and cons

Performance notes
Entry follows natural textbook notation on the multi-line screen, so fractions and roots read as written. Modes switch the calculator between statistics, complex numbers, matrices, lists and equation solving. Solar cells power it in light, with the backup battery covering dim rooms.
