Overview
Solving calculus, matrix and statistics problems is the job of this Casio scientific calculator, which shows expressions as they appear in a textbook. A catalog menu replaces hunting through key labels for functions.
Textbook-style display and a searchable function catalog make advanced work easier to enter and check. It does not graph on screen, sending results by QR code to an online graphing tool instead.
Who it's for
Students and engineers needing calculus, matrices and unit conversions get a fast, clear tool. Courses that require plotting graphs on the calculator call for a graphing model.
Pros and cons
- Calculus and matrix tools
- Memory kept between sessions
- Searchable function catalog
- Solar with battery backup
- No on-screen graphing
- QR graphing needs a phone

- Small screen for spreadsheets
Performance notes
Readability comes from the higher resolution four-tone screen, which shades the cursor and fractions for easier editing. Dual power lets solar handle normal light while the battery covers dim rooms.
