Overview
An 11.8 inch foam bat and foam ball set built for toddlers age 1 to 3, with a hollow plastic core inside the foam for added durability.
At 3.6 oz, the bat is light enough for a one-year-old to lift and swing, and the foam layer is meant to protect both the child and nearby furniture during indoor play. The set ships assembled and includes one bat and one ball.
- 11.8 inch length, 3.6 oz weight
- Hollow plastic core wrapped in foam
- Includes 1 bat and 1 foam ball
- Built for ages 1 to 3
Who it's for
Parents introducing a toddler to batting through backyard or living-room play. Not sized for kids past the early T-ball stage who need a longer, sturdier bat.
Pros and cons
- Lightweight at 3.6 oz for small hands
- Hollow core adds durability over solid foam
- Safe for indoor play near furniture
- Ships assembled with a matching foam ball
- Sized only for toddlers, not older kids
- Foam ball may not hold up to long-term outdoor use
Performance notes
A hollow plastic cylinder inside the foam keeps the bat from collapsing under repeated toddler swings, while the outer foam layer absorbs impact so it stays safe for indoor use near furniture and younger siblings.
