Nature's Way Organic MCT Oil 30 fl oz

Overview

Nature's Way Organic MCT Oil is a liquid coconut-derived oil supplying 14 grams of C8 caprylic and C10 capric medium chain triglycerides per serving, sold in a 30-fluid-ounce bottle. It is certified keto and paleo, marketed for energy support.

MCT oil is typically added to coffee or shakes rather than taken alone, and this one is unflavored, which keeps it neutral for that use. Despite deriving from coconut, it is listed with coconut and tree nut allergens, worth noting for anyone with a tree nut sensitivity even though coconut is botanically a fruit.

• 30 fl oz liquid MCT oil
• 14g C8/C10 MCTs per serving
• Keto and paleo certified
• Vegan, vegetarian, non-GMO

Who it's for

Fits people already following keto or paleo eating who want a liquid MCT source to add to coffee or food rather than a capsule. Not appropriate for anyone with a coconut or tree nut allergy.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The 14 grams of C8 and C10 medium chain triglycerides per serving are the two shorter-chain fats most associated with quick energy conversion, which is why MCT oil is marketed for that purpose rather than for gradual nutrition. Being unflavored and liquid, it is meant to blend into coffee, smoothies or dressings without altering taste much. The vegan and vegetarian labeling reflects the coconut source rather than any added animal ingredient.
