Overview
The Rockville TM150B is listed as a 2.0 channel wireless system rated at 1000 watts, standing 37.4 inches tall and weighing 57.4 pounds. The height and weight point to floor-standing cabinets rather than compact bookshelf speakers.
Despite the surround sound system category label, the channel spec here reads 2.0, so treat this as a high-output stereo pair rather than a multi-speaker surround setup. Wireless connectivity removes the need to run speaker cable to both towers, and the substantial 57.4 pound total weight suggests built-in amplification or subwoofer cabinets rather than passive enclosures.
- 1000W rated power
- 2.0 channel wireless system
- 37.4 in tall cabinets
Who it's for
Buyers wanting large, high-output floor speakers for parties or big rooms who do not need discrete surround channels, and who have the floor space for 37 inch tall towers.
Pros and cons
- High 1000W power rating
- Wireless connectivity avoids running speaker cable between towers
- Tall 37.4 in cabinets suited to big rooms
- Listed as 2.0 channel despite surround sound name
- 57.4 lb total weight needs real floor space
Performance notes
The 1000 watt power figure combined with 57.4 pounds of total weight suggests these towers carry their own internal amplification and sizable drivers or subwoofer sections rather than being passive speakers requiring an external amp. Wireless connectivity governs how the pair communicates rather than how loud they can play.
