Overview
Kwikset's Tylo entry knob, model 94002-852, adds a keyed lock and SmartKey rekey technology to the same rounded Tylo shape, in a satin nickel finish meant for front doors and other exterior-facing entries.
This is the keyed sibling to Kwikset's privacy Tylo knob, built for doors that need real security rather than just privacy. SmartKey lets an owner rekey the lock themselves in seconds without a locksmith, and the hardware is treated with Microban, an antimicrobial surface treatment, on top of the standard grade-3 certification.
- Model 94002-852, satin nickel finish
- SmartKey security, self-rekeyable in seconds
- Microban antimicrobial treatment on hardware
- BHMA Grade-3 certified with lifetime warranty
Who it's for
Meant for a front door or any exterior-facing entry that needs a keyed lock, not an interior bedroom or bathroom door. A household that just moved in and wants to rekey the existing lock is the clearest use case for SmartKey.
