Overview
The Eleganceinlife 7.5-inch tortilla press is a manual, hard plastic press with a leveraged handle, made for flattening corn or flour tortilla dough with dishwasher-safe cleanup.
It suits lighter-duty or occasional use more than a metal press would.
- 7.5-inch pressing surface
- Heavy duty hardened plastic construction
- Manual, leveraged handle operation
- Ships in a gift box with easy assembly
Who it's for
Works for anyone who wants a lightweight, easy-to-clean press for occasional tortilla or hallaca masa making, including users who prefer not to lift a heavy cast iron press. Buyers set on thin, uniformly flat tortillas or who press dough often may find the plastic body flexes more than they'd like.
Pros and cons
- Leveraged handle needs less hand strength
- Dishwasher safe for quick cleanup
- Lightweight body, easy for anyone to use
- Works well for hallaca and lighter masa
- Plastic body flexes, not ideal for thin tortillas
- Some units don't flatten to full size
- Needs real force since it's plastic, not cast iron
