Overview
Perception pairs the Hi-Life paddle with its sit-on-top boat that can be paddled seated or standing. A three-piece shaft and symmetric blade serve both positions.
One paddle covers sitting and standing, and the adjustable shaft fits a wide range of paddlers. The listing does not give a weight or blade area, so those cannot be checked.
Who it's for
Paddlers who switch between sitting in a kayak and standing on it are the target. Those who only paddle seated, or who need lightweight carbon, should choose a dedicated paddle.
Pros and cons
- Converts from kayak to SUP
- Adjustable length shaft
- Lime color finish
- Weight not listed
- Blade area not listed
Performance notes
Reconfiguring the shaft pieces changes the paddle from one style to the other, and the length adjustment fits sitting or standing. A symmetric blade gives the same stroke on both sides.
