Overview
BUBS Naturals MCT Oil Powder is a 10.6 ounce unflavored powder made from coconut-derived MCT fats, formulated for keto, paleo and vegan diets. It mixes into coffee, shakes or smoothies as a dairy-free substitute for liquid MCT oil or creamer.
Powdered MCT oil solves the main complaint people have with liquid versions: it will not float on top of hot coffee or leave an oily film in a blender bottle. The tradeoff is that powders use added carriers to keep the fat solid, so read the ingredient list if you are counting toward a strict macro target. Being unflavored also means it will not mask the taste of black coffee the way a flavored creamer would.
- 10.6 ounce container
- Unflavored powder form
- Keto, paleo and vegan diet fit
- Dairy-free and non-GMO
Who it's for
Best suited to people already on a ketogenic or paleo eating plan who want a stir-in fat source rather than a liquid oil. Vegans and anyone avoiding dairy can use it as a creamer replacement. It is not the product to reach for if you want a strong flavor addition, since it is unflavored.
Pros and cons
- Dissolves into coffee without oily separation
- Dairy-free, fits keto, paleo and vegan diets
- Unflavored, so it will not change drink taste
- No flavor variety, plain option only
- Powder relies on added carriers rather than pure oil
Performance notes
As a powder, it dissolves into hot or cold liquid without the separation that liquid MCT oil shows in coffee. The listed serving is a 10.6 ounce container, so the number of servings depends on how much you use per cup, which the label specifies. Because it is a fat source, effects on energy or appetite depend on individual metabolism, not on the product alone.
