Overview
A vitamin and mineral nutrient blend from JustFoodForDogs meant to be mixed into homemade dog meals, in Chicken and White Rice flavor, sold as the human-grade DIY base for owners cooking their own dog food.
This is not a finished dog food but a nutrient additive, meant to turn a homemade batch of chicken and rice into a more nutritionally complete meal rather than leaving it as plain protein and carbs. The preservative-free formula is built around JustFoodForDogs' human-grade sourcing standard, the company's main differentiator from typical multivitamin powders.
- Nutrient blend for DIY homemade dog food
- Chicken and White Rice flavor
- Preservative-free, human grade
- Targets digestion, coat, skin, and weight support
Who it's for
Owners already cooking homemade dog food who want a tested nutrient base rather than guessing at vitamin ratios are the intended buyer here. Not useful on its own, since it needs to be combined with actual protein and carbohydrate ingredients to function as a meal.
Pros and cons
- Human grade sourcing standard
- Matched to chicken and rice homemade meals
- Not standalone, must combine with other ingredients
- Requires ongoing homemade meal prep to use correctly
Performance notes
The blend is formulated to round out a homemade chicken and rice meal with vitamins and minerals plain protein and grain would otherwise lack, targeting digestive health, coat, skin, and weight management. Being preservative-free ties it to the same standard JustFoodForDogs applies across its fresh food line, rather than a shelf-stable powder loaded with fillers.
