Overview
One large woofer drives the low end of this tall Klipsch floorstanding speaker. It is sold in ebony, intended for surround sound or home theater use, and the listing includes only the speaker.
A tall cabinet and a larger woofer suit a room that needs fuller bass than a bookshelf speaker gives. The maker highlights its acoustic experience, but the listing leaves out impedance, sensitivity and tweeter details.
Who it's for
Home theater owners building a front or surround position with a receiver. Anyone short on floor space, or who needs published impedance and sensitivity figures, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Large woofer for bass
- High maximum power rating
- Impedance not listed
- Tweeter details missing
- Sold as one speaker
Performance notes
A larger woofer moves more air at low frequencies, so a tower like this handles deep notes that a small speaker cannot. How much power it needs, and how loud it plays, depends on figures the listing does not state, such as sensitivity.
