Overview
Klipsch's 1065826 is a wired 5.1-channel surround sound system rated at 75W, finished in Ebony, measuring 9 x 14 x 13 inches and weighing 13 lb.
A 5.1 layout means front left and right, a center channel, two surrounds, and a subwoofer channel, which calls for running speaker wire to multiple points in the room since the listed connectivity is wired only. That's a different commitment than a single soundbar, but it's the format that gives a dedicated theater room its full surround field.
- 5.1-channel surround layout
- 75W rated power
- Wired connectivity
- Ebony finish
Who it's for
Suits a dedicated home theater room where running wire to five speaker positions plus a sub is acceptable. Not a fit for anyone wanting wireless rear speakers or a minimal-cable setup.
Pros and cons
- Full 5.1-channel layout with a dedicated subwoofer channel
- Established home theater audio brand
- Wired connections only, meaning cable runs to rear speakers
- No listed Bluetooth or streaming input
Performance notes
Five discrete channels plus a subwoofer channel means the surround effect comes from real speaker placement around the room rather than digital processing on a single bar, so how it performs leans heavily on getting the two rear channels correctly positioned. The 75W power rating is shared across those channels rather than dedicated to any one speaker.
