Overview
A hand stitched leather shell over a rubber bladder is the build of the Adidas DIME, sold here as an official size football for adults. Leather gives a natural grip that improves as the surface breaks in.
Real leather and hand stitching point to a game ball rather than a backyard toy. The listing gives almost nothing else: no panel count, no break in advice, and a sport type field that says soccer while the title says football.
Who it's for
Grown players looking for a leather match ball suit this listing. Kids need a smaller ball, and anyone unsure whether it is the American football or soccer version should verify first.
Pros and cons
- Genuine leather shell
- Hand stitched construction
- Rubber bladder holds air
- Official size for adult play
- Sport type unclear in the listing
- Leather needs break in and care
- Size details not listed
Performance notes
Leather grip depends on the surface wearing in, which takes use and gets slick when wet. The rubber bladder governs air retention, and hand stitching shapes how the seams feel under the fingers.
