Overview
This is a fly tying kit from Greatfishing built around three UV cure glue types, sold as a 6-piece combo pack aimed at anglers tying shrimp pattern flies.
UV cure resin lets fly tiers build durable, glossy heads and bodies on a fly that set hard in seconds under UV light rather than curing overnight. Having three glue types in one combo gives some flexibility in thickness and finish without buying each separately.
- 6-piece combo pack
- Three UV glue types
- Aimed at shrimp patterns
- Plastic packaging
Who it's for
Fly tiers who already tie their own patterns and want UV resin on the bench, especially those tying shrimp imitations. Beginners without a UV light source will need to buy one separately since it is not included in the specs listed here.
Pros and cons
- Three UV glue types in one combo
- Suited to shrimp pattern tying
- Compact 0.35 pound pack
- No UV light included based on the listed specs
- Limited to the glue types in this specific combo
Performance notes
UV resin cures on demand rather than over hours like epoxy, letting a tier build up layers and check the result before moving on. Having three glue variants in the combo allows different viscosities for coating versus building bulk on a fly head.
