Overview
A water filter cartridge and an air filter work as a pair in this replacement set made for LG refrigerators that use the matching LG filter codes. The listing names NSF certification for aesthetic impurities.
A combo pack covers both filters in one purchase and adds month stickers for tracking changes. The limit is certification scope: only the aesthetic impurities standard is listed, with no health-effect testing named.
Who it's for
LG owners who have matched their refrigerator model to the compatibility list get a ready set with install stickers and a manual. Others, or buyers who want certification beyond aesthetic impurities, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Water and air filters in one set
- Month install stickers included
- User manual included
- Long LG model list
- Made by Aqua Crest, not LG
- Certification covers aesthetic impurities only
- Fit depends on exact refrigerator model
- Contaminant reduction claims are not listed
Performance notes
The water filter reduces aesthetic impurities as water passes through it, which is the scope of the listed certification. The air filter works on refrigerator odor. Both wear out with use, so the install stickers are there to mark the change month.
