Overview
Swapping out a worn cabin blower on a Jeep or Chrysler minivan starts with a part like this: an iron-bodied front HVAC motor sold with its fan cage. The listing ties it to the Grand Cherokee, Grand Caravan, Durango and Town and Country.
Covering both an SUV line and a minivan line makes the part number useful for a repair shop that sees several of these. The Town and Country entry has no years, and the electrical rating is missing from the specs.
Who it's for
Owners and shops handling the listed Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler vehicles. Anyone who needs voltage or dimensions spelled out should check the maker data, and labor is not part of the guarantee.
Pros and cons
- Fan cage included
- Covers SUV and minivan models
- Long year ranges listed
- Voltage not listed
- Town and Country years missing
- Guarantee excludes installation work
Performance notes
Motor speed and cage balance set the airflow and the noise level at the vents. Because the same motor serves different body styles, the plug and mounting flange need to match your old unit.
