Overview
A pack of 300 resin 3D fish eyes in 3mm size from wifreo, sold in multicolor for fly tying and lure building rather than as a finished bait.
These are a raw tying component, not an assembled lure, meant to be glued or set onto hand tied flies or jigs to add a lifelike eye. The 3mm size and 300 piece count point to small scale work such as bass flies or micro jigs, where a large quantity of one small size is more useful than a mixed assortment.
- 300 pieces per pack
- 3mm resin 3D eyes
- Multicolor
- Fly tying and lure building material
Who it's for
Anglers who tie their own flies or build custom jigs and want a bulk supply of small 3D eyes in one size. Not useful for anyone looking for a ready to fish lure, since this is a tying material rather than a finished bait.
Pros and cons
- 300 piece count covers many tying projects
- 3mm size suited to smaller flies and jigs
- Multicolor assortment in one pack
- Requires glue or epoxy and tying skill to use
- Not a finished lure on its own
Performance notes
3D resin eyes add dimension and light reflection to a hand tied fly or jig head that flat painted eyes do not, which can change how the finished lure reads to fish. Because they are sold loose, they need to be set with glue or epoxy during the tying process rather than snapped onto a finished bait.
