Overview
Listed as an outdoor cooker, the Bayou Classic 4010 is built from plastic and weighs just 1.9 lb, lighter than a full propane burner setup. It measures 12 by 12 by 5.38 inches and holds a 4.6 rating from 690 buyers.
Full sized outdoor cookers from Bayou Classic are typically built from cast iron or steel to handle direct flame, so a plastic part under 2 lb more likely serves as a component, such as a base, lid, or stand, rather than the complete burner unit. The listing does not clarify which, so buyers should confirm exactly what ships before assuming a full cooking rig.
- Plastic construction
- 12 x 12 x 5.38 in
- 1.9 lb weight
Who it's for
Existing Bayou Classic outdoor cooker owners who may be replacing or adding a plastic component to their setup. Not the right listing for anyone expecting a complete standalone propane cooker.
Pros and cons
- Compact 12 x 12 x 5.38 in footprint
- 4.6 rating from 690 buyers
- Lightweight at 1.9 lb
- Plastic build unlikely to be the full cooker
- Listing does not specify which component this is
Performance notes
Plastic construction at this weight is not built to sit directly over an open flame, which suggests this part stays away from the heat source itself, such as a base, stand, or drip tray. Confirm placement before use so it is not exposed to direct burner heat.
