Overview
A plastic tube pitched in C is the heart of the Nuvo jFlute 2.0, a flute the listing aims at players from beginner to advanced. The mouthpiece comes in the box, and the finish is white with pink.
Plastic construction and a cheerful color make the jFlute an easy instrument to hand to a young player. The listing is thin: no head joint type, no case and no range are given, so the advanced-player claim is hard to judge.
Who it's for
Kids who want a flute in a bright color for practice at home or in class get a plastic option that is easy to handle. Serious students comparing mechanisms and tone should look for a listing with fuller details.
Pros and cons
- Plastic body for worry-free handling
- Listed for beginners through advanced players
- White and pink color option
- Head joint type not listed
- Only a mouthpiece in the box
- Powder coated finish listed on plastic
Performance notes
Pitch is set by the C tuning and the player's finger coverage, and tone comes from air directed across the mouthpiece into the plastic body. With no description of the key system or head joint, how it responds to advanced technique cannot be judged from the listing.
