Overview
The ATN Thor 4 is a thermal riflescope built around ATN's Obsidian IV dual core processor and a Gen 4 thermal sensor, with a built-in rangefinder, ballistic calculator and Wi-Fi video streaming.
ATN positions this as a smart scope: it pairs thermal imaging with onboard ballistics and a 2-click rangefinder so you are not carrying separate devices in the field. It is listed as ITAR restricted, meaning export outside the US is limited.
- Obsidian IV dual core with Gen 4 thermal sensor
- 2-click smart rangefinder
- Automatic ballistic calculator
- Over 16 hours of battery life
Who it's for
Suited to hog and predator hunters who need to spot animals in full darkness and want recording built in. Less suited to buyers expecting flawless reliability out of the box, since several owners describe firmware related freezing.
Pros and cons

- Built-in rangefinder and ballistic calculator speed up shots

- Dual stream lets you record and stream Wi-Fi at once
- Some units freeze after a NUC event and need a hard reboot
