Overview
Not a quick-boil kettle you refill each time, the Zojirushi STAN. is an electric boiling pot that heats and holds water at a set temperature. It is a Japan domestic model with a stainless body, a removable filter and a short cord.
Hot water on demand at a chosen temperature suits tea, coffee and infant formula routines. Being built for Japanese power, it may need a step-down transformer elsewhere.
Who it's for
Households in Japan or with a suitable transformer get a stylish, compact hot water station. Buyers elsewhere should confirm power compatibility first.
Pros and cons
- Holds water at set temperature
- Compact size for counters
- Stainless steel build
- Rated for Japanese voltage
- Short power cord
- Ships from Japan, manual likely Japanese
Performance notes
Water is heated by the element and then held at the chosen temperature, so cups pour without waiting. Running it on a mismatched supply affects heating and safety. Descaling and filter cleaning help it stay efficient.
