Overview
One strap, five pockets and room for an iPad Mini (up to 7.9 inches) or a Kindle define this AMJ sling bag, made from water-resistant nylon with an internal charging port for routing a cable to your own power bank.
Despite sitting in a hiking daypack category, this is a compact chest and sling bag, not a full trekking backpack: the pockets are sized for a small tablet and phone rather than a multi-day load. The charging port only routes a cable you already have connected to your own power bank, since neither is included.
- 5-pocket organization
- Fits iPad Mini up to 7.9 inches and Kindle
- Reversible shoulder strap
- Internal USB-C and USB charging pass-through
Who it's for
A day hiker, commuter or short-trip traveler wanting one small bag for a phone, Kindle or iPad Mini fits this well. It is not a substitute for a full daypack carrying water, layers and gear.
Pros and cons
- Reversible strap for left or right shoulder carry
- 5 pockets fit an iPad Mini and a Kindle separately
- Water-resistant nylon construction
- Too small to serve as a real hiking daypack
- Charging cable is internal only, power bank not included
Performance notes
The reversible strap switches the bag from left to right shoulder carry, and the 5 pockets separate a small tablet, a Kindle and smaller items instead of piling them into one compartment. The charging port passes an internal cable to the outside so a connected power bank can top up a phone while walking.
