Overview
Prolux's Core is a 13-inch electric floor buffer and scrubber built for home, office and restaurant floors, running a low-RPM, high-torque motor with interchangeable pads for scrubbing, buffing, polishing and waxing.
It scrubs and buffs in both directions at once rather than spinning one way, which Prolux positions as the reason for deeper cleaning without swirl marks.
- 13-inch cleaning path
- 150 RPM, high-torque motor
- 5 interchangeable cleaning pads included
- Telescoping T-handle, 50-foot cord
Who it's for
Suits home or small business owners with large hard-floor areas like VCT tile, epoxy or grout who want to scrub or buff without hiring a crew. Not a fit for anyone who actually needs to sand a floor, since no sanding disc is available despite stripping being listed as a use.
Pros and cons
- Scrubs and buffs in both directions for deeper cleaning
- Removes heavily embedded dirt from tile and epoxy floors
- Comes with 5 different cleaning pads
- 5-year motor guarantee
- Cannot sand floors despite stripping being listed as a use
- Some units reported with pad holder or spin defects
- Customer service response was slow for at least one buyer
