Overview
A 3-pack replacement water and air filter set built to fit LG's LT1000P/LT1000PC family and the Kenmore Elite 9980, covering models like the LMXS28626S and LFXS26973S. It's a compatible part, not an LG or Kenmore branded filter, positioned as a lower-cost alternative to the OEM cartridge.
The listing leans on NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 certification claims and a long list of compatible model numbers rather than brand recognition, which fits a category where fit and filtration matter more than styling. As with any carbon filter, expect to run a few gallons through it before the water tastes right.
- 3-pack water filter, fits LG LT1000P/LT1000PC family
- Also fits Kenmore Elite 9980 style filters
- NSF/ANSI 42 and 372 certification claimed
- 0.5 micron multi-layer carbon filtration
Who it's for
Fits owners of LG or Kenmore refrigerators that take the LT1000P/ADQ74793501-style cartridge who want a 3-pack at a lower price than the OEM part. Not a fit if your model number isn't on the compatibility list, since an ill-fitting filter can leak.
Pros and cons
- Includes matching LT120F-style air filter compatibility
- Won't significantly lower TDS since minerals are retained
- Needs a few gallons flushed through before water tastes clean
- Must match your exact fridge model to fit correctly
Performance notes
The cartridge uses a multi-layer carbon filter rated at 0.5 microns, which the brand says reduces chlorine and odor while leaving minerals like calcium and magnesium in the water, so it won't meaningfully lower TDS readings.
