Overview
Not a wheel set or a truck, this is a pack of eight Bones Big Balls Reds ball bearings for skateboards. The set arrives with a sticker and instructions, and the bearings are stainless steel.
A full set of eight covers four wheels, and the ABEC rating gives a point of comparison between bearings. Compatibility with cream lubricant helps with maintenance. The limitation is that the listing carries no warranty and gives no sealing or shield detail.
Who it's for
Street, park and cruiser skaters renewing the bearings on a full board. Riders who want a warranty, or whose wheels use a different bearing size, should check before buying.
Pros and cons
- Eight bearings cover four wheels
- ABEC 9 specification
- Stainless steel construction
- Cream lubricant compatible
- No warranty offered
- Shield or seal type unstated
- Spacers and speed rings not mentioned
Performance notes
Ball bearings set how freely a wheel spins, and smooth running depends on clean races and the right lubricant. The listing names cream as compatible, which suits regular maintenance. The ABEC figure rates tolerances, but real speed also depends on wheel fit and bearing upkeep.
