Nature's Truth MCT Oil 16 fl oz

Overview

Nature's Truth MCT Oil is a 16 ounce liquid supplement made from coconut oil, sold unflavored for adding to coffee, smoothies or keto style meals. It's vegan, non-GMO and gluten free.

As a liquid rather than a capsule, this MCT oil is meant to be measured out and mixed into food or drink, which is the more common format for MCT oil generally.

• 16 fl oz liquid MCT oil
• Derived from coconut oil
• Unflavored, suited to keto diets
• Vegan, non-GMO, gluten free

Who it's for

Works for anyone following a keto style diet who wants an unflavored liquid MCT oil to stir into coffee or a shake. Not the right format for someone who prefers MCT in capsule form or wants a flavored oil.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

MCT oil from coconut oil is commonly added to keto or low carb diets because medium chain triglycerides are metabolized differently than typical long chain fats, though the listing does not specify the ratio of C8 to C10 fatty acids, which affects how quickly the oil is used by the body. Being unflavored makes it easier to mix into coffee, smoothies or dressings without altering taste. At 16 fluid ounces, the bottle holds a larger supply than the smaller capsule format supplements in this batch.
