Overview
Driving forward, in reverse and around turns is all this yellow CAT dump truck asks of a small child. A child-friendly controller does the steering, and it can be secured onto the truck when not in use.
Simple controls and working headlights suit a first RC toy. The limits are a battery requirement listed two ways and a basic function set with no dumping control described.
Who it's for
Young children in the listed age range who like construction vehicles and can handle a simple controller. Older kids who want speed or off-road driving should look at a larger truck.
Pros and cons
- Controller sized for small hands
- Controller stores on the truck
- Simple forward, reverse and turn
- Battery count listed two ways
- Batteries not included
- Basic functions only
Performance notes
The truck moves forward and in reverse and turns through the controller, with a modest top speed suited to preschool reflexes. Run time depends on the alkaline batteries, and the listing gives no figure.
