Overview
A brushless motor turns an in-line fan inside this cordless blower, moving air straight down the tube for better balance. It takes one Makita LXT battery, sold separately, and adds a cruise control lever for steady output.
The brushless motor and electronic controls stretch battery charge while giving strong airflow for clearing yards and job sites. Cruise control and a speed lock spare the trigger finger. Without a battery in the box it suits people already in the LXT system.
Who it's for
Contractors and homeowners who already run Makita tools can add this blower with no new battery system to learn. Those starting from scratch will pay for a pack and charger on top.
Pros and cons
- Brushless motor runs cooler and longer
- Cruise control manages power and run time
- Speed lock for continuous use
- In-line fan improves balance
- Battery and charger not included
- Exact run time per pack not listed
- Noise level not listed
Performance notes
Electronic controls match motor output to the load, so the blower draws more power when needed and saves charge otherwise. The in-line fan places mass along the tube, which reduces wrist strain during long sweeps.
