Overview
Makita built this compact cordless blower for its LXT battery system, with a three speed motor and a rubberized soft grip. It is sold as the bare tool, so a battery from the same platform powers it.
Light, compact cleanup for owners already on Makita batteries is the reason to buy. Run time on high is short, so larger jobs need spare batteries.
Who it's for
Contractors and homeowners clearing sawdust, decks and garages fit here. People new to the platform must buy a battery separately.
Pros and cons
- High air speed for its size
- Three speed control
- Light and compact
- Soft grip handle
- Battery not included
- Short run time on high
Performance notes
Air speed comes from a Makita-built high-torque motor, and a lower speed setting stretches battery life. The short length and light weight reduce arm fatigue during repeated short bursts.
