Overview
Throwing a full infield session or a high school game both suit this case of Diamond baseballs, approved by the NFHS and stamped to NOCSAE standards. A cork and rubber core with yarn winding lies under a full grain leather cover with raised seams.
Three dozen approved balls give a team enough for games plus practice rotation without buying a full five dozen case. Ball weight and warranty are not given.
Who it's for
High school and youth teams playing under NFHS rules will be covered for games and practice. Leagues with their own ball rules should check their approved list first.
Pros and cons
- SEI certified, NOCSAE standards
- Full grain leather cover
- Raised seams for grip
- Mid size case
- Ball weight not listed
- Warranty not stated
- Leather scuffs with heavy use
Performance notes
The cork and rubber core with yarn winding governs how lively the ball comes off the bat. Raised seams give pitchers more grip for breaking pitches. Full grain leather holds shape well but scuffs on dirt and turf over time.
