Overview
Not a folding ladder, the Rubbermaid Roughneck is a molded plastic single step that adds a little height for pantry shelves and cleaning. A skid resistant top and feet grip the floor, and it stows easily after use.
Simple and compact, it gives a small, stable lift wherever it is needed. Its lower load limit and single step limit it to light tasks.
Who it's for
Suited to kitchens, laundry rooms and kids' bathrooms. Anyone needing more height or a higher load limit should choose another stool.
Pros and cons
- Compact for storage
- Light to carry
- Lower load limit
- Very low step height
- Pack count unclear in listing
Performance notes
Grip comes from skid resistant surfaces on both the top and the feet. Its low, wide shape is what makes it stable. Load limit governs who can use it safely.
