Overview
Not a bow you build from a parts bag, the Ravin R10 arrives with its frame already assembled and a crank handle built in. Helicoil technology shapes the cam design, and the package title names an illuminated scope.
Ready out of the box is the strongest argument, with a crank handle built in and the frame pre-assembled. The listing is sparse: there is no speed rating, no arrow count, and the included components field names only the crossbow itself.
Who it's for
Right handed hunters who want to cock with a crank and skip frame assembly are the audience. Left handed shooters and anyone who needs a full published spec sheet should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Frame comes pre-assembled
- Crank handle built in
- Helicoil technology named in listing
- Illuminated scope named in package title
- Right hand orientation only
- Arrow speed not listed
- Included components field names only the crossbow
- Listed item weight looks implausibly low
Performance notes
A crank cocking setup pulls the string to the same point each time with little effort, which favors consistency over cocking speed. Without a published velocity, downrange results cannot be judged from this listing, so arrow choice and scope setup decide accuracy.

Frequently asked questions
What comes in the box with the Ravin R10 package?
The included components field only says Ravin R10 Black. The title describes a crossbow package with an illuminated scope and a built-in crank handle, but no arrows or other accessories are listed, so confirm the contents with the seller.
How fast does the Ravin R10 shoot?
The listing does not give an arrow speed. Only draw weight and draw length are stated.
Why is the Ravin R10 listed at such a low weight?
The item weight field says 16 ounces, which looks low for a crossbow package with a scope. Treat it as a possible listing error and confirm the carry weight with the seller.
