Overview
Loading the BALLISTA BAT takes a few seconds with a cocking assist that stays on the frame, so no loose rope cocker is needed. The compact compound build fits in a daypack and suits target, bowfishing setups and small game where allowed.
Small size and light weight make it easy to carry to the range or water. Short effective range and no included sight limit it to close work.
Who it's for
Adults practicing at close range or rigging a compact bowfishing setup. Big game hunters need a full-size crossbow with longer reach.
Pros and cons
- Fits a daypack
- Built-in cocking assist
- Practice bolts included
- Sights sold separately
- Short effective range
- Speed and weight listed several ways
Performance notes
Compound cams store energy from the stiff limbs, letting a short frame reach high bolt speed. The short power stroke and light bolts limit range, so accuracy past close distances drops quickly.
