Overview
Not a lockbox or a steel cabinet, the Kodiak safe pairs a UL Listed electronic lock with armor plate, a relocker and fireboard in every wall. Inside, a door organizer, handgun holders and an adjustable shelf are fitted around the long gun racks.
Large long gun capacity plus a door organizer and handgun holders lets one safe hold a mixed collection. Fire rating is modest, and the listing does not say how it bolts down or what it weighs.
Who it's for
Hunters and shooters who want rifles, pistols and ammo locked in one place with quick electronic access. Owners who prioritize fire protection over capacity should look at higher-rated safes.
Pros and cons
- Holds a large long gun collection
- Door organizer for ammo and gear
- Wide-swing external hinges
- Weight and anchor kit not listed
- Modest fire rating
- Electronic lock needs power
Performance notes
Fireboard lining slows heat reaching the contents for the rated window, after which interior temperatures climb. The relocker fires if the lock is attacked, holding the bolts shut even if the keypad is defeated.
