Overview
COMFEE's CKE06L1EBASK is a 1.7-liter stainless steel electric kettle rated at 1500W, built to boil water in a few minutes without a stovetop or microwave. It suits daily tea and coffee drinkers who want a straightforward kettle rather than a variable-temperature model.
- 304 food-grade stainless steel interior
- Removable nylon filter for easy cleaning
- LED indicator light while boiling
- 1500W rated power
Who it's for
Good for anyone who wants a fast boil-and-stop kettle for tea, coffee, instant noodles or pasta water. Not for buyers who need precise temperature control for green or white tea, since this only boils to full temperature.
Pros and cons
- Boils 1.7 liters in about 5 to 7 minutes
- Auto shut-off plus boil-dry protection
- Cool-touch handle and pop-up lid
- 360-degree cordless swivel base
- No adjustable temperature settings
- Housing gets hot to the touch during use
Performance notes
The 1500W element brings 1.7 liters to a boil in roughly 5 to 7 minutes per the listing, and the Strix thermostat cuts power once boiling starts rather than running on a timer. Boil-dry protection is a separate safeguard that shuts the element off if the kettle runs empty. The stainless housing gets warm to the touch during use, which one reviewer flagged, so the cool-touch handle is doing real work rather than being decorative.
