Overview
A 12 piece roller swivel kit sized #6, weighing about 0.01 kilograms per unit, aimed at Carolina rig style fishing setups.
Roller swivels like these are used to stop line twist where a leader meets the main line, which matters on Carolina rigs where a sliding weight can add twist during a retrieve. The attribute data lists tungsten as the material, an unusual spec for swivels worth double checking against the product photos since roller swivels are more commonly brass or stainless.
- 12 roller swivels per pack
- Size #6
- Carolina rig oriented kit
Who it's for
Anglers rigging Carolina style setups who want a stocked pack of small swivels on hand. Not for anglers needing a swivel size larger than #6.
Pros and cons
- 12 swivels per pack
- Sized for Carolina rig style leaders
- Low weight per unit for easy rigging
- Size #6 may be too small for larger target species
- Material listed as tungsten, worth confirming against photos
Performance notes
Roller swivels rotate under load to release the line twist that builds up as a weight slides on the leader, which is the main reason anglers add them to a Carolina rig instead of tying straight to the main line.
